I've been here since Saturday.
That is why I need to tell you
things that happened earlier. On
Saturday morning, I met Esther
who had been here to study
English. Before she went home,
she wanted to give me some
tips. How generous of her. This
way I learned a lot about buses, must-see sights and a good café in Valetta etc. Because I'm a big fan of old cities AND good cafés, I decided to spend the Saturday in Valetta. Here are some impressions:
The first thing I saw when
arriving at Valetta was the Eco
Market. This community of
change-makers aspires to make
ethical consumption the norm
and present a purposeful
shopping experience in Malta. I
tried delicious wine which was
advertised as a guilt-free
delicacy;) The purpose of this event was to inspire and facilitate an easy and joyful shift towards an environmentally-friendly way of living. There was, for instance, a girl using a pedal powered blender. She could not get her smoothy without riding her bike, This way, she killed to birds with one stone: she saved energy and had her exercise.
